Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
Your Uber tax summaries and statements are read on your device and never uploaded.
What you add is saved in your browser on your device, not on our servers. We can’t see it.
You only need an account to buy a pass. It holds your email address and the passes you bought, and nothing from your documents.
The Tool counts its own use: how often it works out your GET, what it comes to, and what you record as paid, with the county and the driver’s name on your documents. Not your documents or your income figures.
There is no advertising, and no other company’s tracking or analytics scripts. We don’t sell your information.
This Privacy Policy explains how GETdone, offered by Addweb LLC (“we” or “us”), handles information when you use the GETdone website at hawaiigetdone.com and the tool on it (the “Tool”). It is part of the User Agreement.
1. Your files stay on your device
When you add Uber tax summaries, statements, or a CSV of cash tips or other income, your browser reads them on your device. The files and what’s in them are not sent to us or to anyone else.
2. What is saved on your device
So you don’t have to add everything again next time, the Tool saves the following in your browser’s storage:
Figures read from your tax summaries and statements (dates and amounts) and the names of the files you added
Cash tips you record, with their dates and notes
Other business income you enter, with its descriptions
Your filing records: the dates you filed and paid, confirmation numbers and amounts
Tax years you mark as filed and paid without GETdone
Your settings: filing frequency and the tax reading you last picked
The date you accepted the User Agreement and this Policy
For a day, the pass you chose in the Tool before signing in, so the account page can offer it
This stays in the browser you used, on that device. We can’t see it. Anyone who can use that browser on that device can, so use GETdone on a device you control. To delete it, use Start over (statements) and Remove (entries and records), choose to remove it when you sign out, or clear this site’s data in your browser’s settings. Clearing it can’t be undone.
3. What we don’t collect
You can use the Tool without an account, and without one we ask for nothing about you (section 4 covers accounts). What the Tool counts is in section 5. We don’t ask for your Social Security number, Hawaii tax ID, or bank or card details. The Tool has no advertising, no tracking cookies and no other company’s analytics scripts. The only other companies’ servers it contacts are the ones that keep accounts and take payment for us, and only once you create an account, sign in or buy a pass.
4. Accounts
You need an account only to buy a pass, so the pass can follow you to another browser or device. Your email address is your username. An account holds:
Your email address
Your password, kept in a scrambled form that we can’t read
The passes you bought: which pass, the tax year it is for, what you paid and any code you used
When the account was created and last signed in to
Accounts are kept for us by Supabase, a company that runs sign-in and databases for websites. Your Uber documents, the figures read from them and your filing records are not part of your account: they stay on your device (section 2). Signing in saves a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in; signing out removes it. To close your account and have what it holds deleted, write to us (section 11).
You pay for a pass on a page run by Stripe, a payment company. Your card number goes to Stripe and never to us: we can’t see or store it. Stripe tells us that the payment went through, for which pass, the email address you paid with, the name you gave with your payment, and how you paid (such as the card’s brand and last four digits). We use the name and how you paid only to write the receipt we email you, and we don’t keep them in your account.
Our emails, such as your receipt and the emails that confirm your address or reset your password, are sent for us by Resend, an email company, which handles your email address and what each message says in order to deliver it.
5. What the Tool counts
So we know how GETdone is used, and how much General Excise Tax it has helped drivers work out and pay, the Tool sends us a few figures. They are kept for us by Supabase (the company that keeps accounts), and only we can read them:
A random number the Tool makes for this browser and keeps in it, which tells us it’s the same browser and nothing about who uses it
Once a day when the Tool works out your GET: the plan you’re on, the GET it worked out and what is owed with penalties and interest
When you record a return as paid: which return, its GET and what you paid
When you buy a pass: that this browser bought one, which pass and what you paid
With each of these: the county, and the driver’s name printed on your Uber documents
When an Uber document doesn’t read the way Uber’s documents usually do: what kind of document it is, its year and month, what didn’t read (such as a line or the name that wasn’t found) and Uber’s wording of the lines involved. Never the document, its figures, its file name or the name on it. It tells us when Uber changes a layout, so the Tool keeps reading your documents correctly; if you’re signed in, we may write to ask for a copy.
The Tool never sends your documents, the income figures read from them or your other filing records. If you’re signed in, these figures are linked to your account. To have them deleted, write to us (section 11).
6. Website hosting
Like any website, the servers that deliver GETdone’s pages may automatically record technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to keep the site secure and running. These records don’t include your tax summaries, your statements or anything you enter in the Tool.
7. Copying and printing
The Copy buttons put a value on your device’s clipboard. Printing, or saving the summary for your tax professional as a PDF, happens on your device. Once you share a printout or file, what happens to it is up to you and the people you share it with.
8. Sharing and selling
We don’t sell or rent personal information. The only personal information we receive is what an account holds (section 4) and what the Tool counts (section 5), and we share it only with the companies that keep it, send our emails and take payment for us.
9. Children
GETdone is for adults. It isn’t meant for anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this Policy
If we change how GETdone handles information (for example, by keeping more in an account than it holds today), we will update this Policy before the change takes effect and ask you to accept it again.
